At Your Service Subscriptions is a monthly COMIC BOOK mail-order service, operating out of Rowlett, Texas ( a suburb of Dallas ), specializing in sales to Comic Book Collectors worldwide ! We love the individual collector!

We offer all comic publisher's titles at a whopping 30 percent off cover !!!  We plan to use this site to make this your one-stop "shop" for Comic Books, Trading Cards, Posters, T-Shirts, Games and more! 

We specialize in operating a monthly, new comic book pre-order service. Each month, you can order Diamond's Previews catalog published around the first of each month. This catalog describes comics and related items two months in advance. You can order any item in these catalogs at a substantial discount from retail or cover price. Then, you repeat this process each montb, so you have the freedom to pick and choose what comics you want each month, and you are not tied into any long-term commitment to any particular title. Also, with your shipment at the beginning of each month. you will receive our latest ":Hot Off the Press: newsletter. You can even place your order via the Internet!

Discounts Offered

We have a simplified discount structure! Here’s the deal:  the vast majority of items listed in Previews are 30 % off list price. If an item  you want is listed as "PI" (Please Inquire) we will have priced the "PI"  item at the lowest possible price we can offer on our please inquire list ( published each month on the internet  ), so no further discount is available on these items.  Back Issues include items which were solicited, or offered for sale, in a Previews catalog prior to the current one. Occasionally, an item will be "please inquire" priced even though it has a list price. Please research all non comics carefully before ordering to assure you know the At Your Service price.

Late orders are accepted with a maximum 25 percent Discount on previews Priced Items. Items which have not been published, and were offered in prior month’s Catalogs, are available at Back Issue Discounts (20% off), unless a complete Late order is placed. In other words, items from the prior month’s Previews are at 20% off, not 30% or 25%, unless a completely separate order is placed subject to the Small Order Surcharge, etc. Please Inquire items ordered late will be assessed an additional 5 percent surcharge above our listed price.  This will still be in most cases well below Retail Price!

Orders totaling less than $35.00, after discounts are taken, catalogs and taxes are added, are required to pay a $ 4.00 surcharge. In order to provide all accounts with our 30 percent off program, this extra fee is necessary. We have removed our minimum order requirement, and in most cases you are getting an overall lower price for these smaller orders, as compared to our previous policy.

Company History

Our humble beginnings.........................

A fellow named Steve Rude (pronounced Rudy) was a comic book collector for as long as he could remember. (Side note: this is not the same Steve Rude who co-created Nexus!) Born in Dallas, Texas in winter of 1962, Steve's grandparents owned one of the few drug stores in Port Arthur, Texas, a small town down towards the Gulf of Mexico, which happens to be the birthplace of one Jimmy Johnson, former coach of the Dallas Cowboys.

Once a week, Steve would get a care package from his grandparents which would include a copy of each comic book that arrived that week. Talk about manna from heaven! No, Steve did not keep all these comics. Most were given away to less fortunate kids. Many that were kept were mutilated beyond collectibility.

As Steve grew older, his love of comic books never waned, as he continued to collect through college and thereafter as he ventured into the business world. After five years as a public accountant, he yearned for a more satisfying way of making a living. He had been buying his comics by mail-order for several years at this point, and was less than satisfied with the level of service he was receiving. He thought, "I could do this better". And that's what he set out to do...

Until October 2000 - when Steve felt the pull of his families other business and decided it was time to hand the reigns over to someone else. Steve entrusted Keith Colvin, Owner of Keith's Comics with the responsibility of At Your Service. Keith's Comics has been in business since 1989 and has had its ups and downs but still focuses on satifying its large and loyal following of people who like to read and play.

With two stores in Dallas, Texas area, Keith adds a new dimension to At Your Service with the ability to sell individual action figures and the economies of scale his operation currently enjoys.
