... and we are back! Time to start prepping for our excellent trip in March 2012. What's even better is this time you are invited. From time to time we will post some of our tips for a successfull trip to Walt Disney World Orlando. First off, I will go over the basics.... click for more D-tales!
Ima Sez: Here is the complete list of guest speakers at Disney Worlds Epcot Holiday Candlelight Processional: Now you can make your plans for this special event.
Ima Sez: Here is the newest royal couple: ROYALS! From the Chip and Company Blog. They look cute and they sound like they have funny personalities. Don't forget your autograph book! And hey! Let down your hair!
Ima Sez: When Ima went to Epcot recently she was surprised by some great nachos from Cantina de San Angel. These were a great snack for a family of four. It cost us one quick serve meal and it came with a drink and churros. This was a great break and we sat on the porch in front of the Temple under an umbrella. We have become quite creative in our use of meals and snacks and we always have plenty to eat on the Disney Dining Plan. Don't be afraid to think out-side of the box.
Ima Sez: It is definently worth your time to go to the Karamell Kuche in Epcot's Germany. The caramel is very tasty ...and they put it on everything! The hard part is to choose.
Ima Sez: The Haunted Mansion has a new projected exit sign ... a helping hand . Here is a look: Helper . Ima thought she was imagining this was new but there is the proof. Those ghosts can get into your head.
Ima Sez: Tom Sawyer Island rocks! We discovered this little get-away and had a blast walking around exploring the caves. We have even been told that every morning castmembers hide 1-5 paint brushes. If you are lucky enough to find one you get a prize. Explained here: Whitewash
Ima Sez: Happy Columbus Day! Did you know there is a Jack Skellington Columbus Day pin? We found many Jack holiday pins when trading this last trip to the World. So look carefully at all the lanyards!
Ima Sez: Here is something cool to do if you are at WDW today: Special Event. Ima wishes she was there for this special event.
Ima Sez 10/9/10 Ima Sez: Here are the favorite places we all liked to eat while at Disney. Mr. Mowse liked Liberty Tree Tavern family style dinner. While the little mice liked Fish and Chips at Epcot and pizza at Sci-Fi Diner. Ima liked the hot Italian sandwich at the All Star Movie food court and Mickey Bars of course. Where will you go?
Ima Sez 10/8/10 Ima Sez: I found it most helpful to talk about the trip and the highlights as we were going home. Who liked what, ect....I will plan our next Disney venture with those in mind. You may be surprised when you find out who likes what.
Ima Sez 10/7/10 Ima Sez: If you don't get a satisfactory answer from your check-in castmember while checking in, go back and ask the concierge the same question a little later. Different cast members have different levels of expertise. They all try hard and are very helpfull where they can be but it's not possible to expect every castmember to know every detail about everthing.
Ima Sez 10/6/10 Ima Sez: A good thing to do at least a week before you fly out to Disney is check to see if your flight has been changed. Ima found this out the hard way! The printed info did not match the departure menu board. Yikes! Ima was calling from the shuttle on the way to the terminal to see what time and what flight she was on that day. Ima never wants to do that again.
Ima Sez 10/5/10 Ima Sez: Ima has been stressing about the weather. Looked like we might see hurricanes and a lot of rain. Now it shows nothing but blue skies. The weather can be fickle so just prepare for it all.
Ima Sez 10/4/10 Ima Sez: Here is a new snack muffin from Disneyland: MUFFIN! I hope there is one in WDW. I love pumpkin anything especially topped with a chocolate mouse.
Ima Sez 10/3/10 Ima Sez: There will be a new parade in 2011 at Disneyland... "Mickey's Soundsational Parade". This parade will feature music inspired from Disney movies. Everyone will get to participate.
